What kind of training will I be doing?
You’ll follow a 5-week structured plan built by JOIN and BEAT. It includes both training sessions and performance tests to measure your progress.
What are the tests like?
They’re designed to reveal your cycling potential, think efforts that measure endurance, power, and how you recover. Nothing too wild, just focused data. There will be 4 tests throughout the challenge, 1 test per week. If you wish to be selected, you will need to complete all 4 tests during the training program.
What happens after the 5 weeks?
Top participants will be invited to the Selection Weekend (July 11–13) with BEAT’s performance team. There you'll take part in physical tests, interviews, and assignments. After the weekend, the best participant will be offered an internship to train with the BEAT team during the autumn.
What if I don’t win? Is it still worth it?
Absolutely. You’ll walk away with a personalised benchmark of your cycling performance and clear insights into your training progress.
Will there be community or group support during the challenge?
