This is quite easy and straightforward. We calculate your training plan based on three elements, your athletic profile, the goal you set and your availability.
This screen contains all your athletic data. Ranging from age and weight to your heart and power data. The key here is to input as much data as you possibly can. The more data you enter, the more specific your plan will be.
Please review your athletic profile occasionally since these values change from time to time, and make sure to perform an FTP test so your workouts are always taking your latest efforts into account.
Some people work towards an event and others have the goal to improve a specific cycling skill. Choose from one of the latest events in your country or go abroad, our list of events is always updated to include the best. If the event you are attending isn't listed, you can always create your own goal by inputting the date of the event, distance and elevation and the plan will be created accordingly.
Planning a race, working on climbs, your stamina or building your FTP? We've got you covered.
This is where the 'magic' of JOIN comes into play. Instead of having a fixed schedule, we let the user decide when they want to ride. Easy right? And it's also possible to change your availability when training, the plan adapts automatically to whatever time you have available. Take into account that if you select a higher activity profile in your athletic profile, the plan also expects more effort from your side. Meaning that you need to have more available hours and preferably evenly spread during the week.
If you have a Strava account your training plan can also benefit from that. By connecting to your account in JOIN we can automatically read and synchronize all your training data and adjust the training plan accordingly. Once you've uploaded an activity to Strava, you'll receive a notification from JOIN asking you for feedback for that specific activity gathering all data belonging to that ride.
