Your JOIN workouts now sync automatically to your connected Garmin device — no manual export needed. Once your Garmin account is linked in JOIN, today’s workout is pushed automatically whenever your plan changes.
Make sure that JOIN and Garmin Connect are linked. This also allows JOIN to import your completed workouts from Garmin Connect.

Auto-Sync (Default)
JOIN pushes your workout to Garmin Connect within seconds of any plan change. Garmin Connect then picks it up on its own schedule — usually within a few minutes. Any delay after JOIN has sent the workout is on Garmin’s side, not JOIN’s.
Cannot find your workout on Garmin Connect? Follow these steps:
- Open Garmin Connect
- Tap “More” (...) at the bottom right
- Select “Training & Planning”
- Tap on “Workouts”
You should find your workout there. Note that pulling to refresh in Garmin Connect does not speed up the sync — Garmin fetches updates on its own schedule. If the workout still does not appear, double-check that you have the correct Garmin account linked by reconnecting your Garmin Connect account in JOIN.
Manual Export (Optional)
Prefer to export a specific workout manually? You can still do that:
- Go to Today’s training
- Tap on the workout planned
- Tap the export button
- Select Garmin Connect
- Select Power or Heart Rate and then export
